So I hadn’t rode my bike in a few days so I was itchin to get on the road. So I called my boy Seb and headed to his house for a little adventure. He choose our end destination– Lake Merced and the route and we were off. Hadda nice ride through the city although I wasn’t as beasty as Seb ridin w the cars on Brotherhood– I got kinda nervous =). Soon ill be out riding with the best of em. We ended up riding for 5.3 miles (SCORE!) And hadda good time! Plus we had a gorgeous view of the water, I even put on my blinking back light on my bike like a champ! Ha!

It has all of its original parts from the 70s except the wheels. SCORE! Some bumps and bruises but that shows character fer sure!
Gunna take her to a shop this weekend and get a few new pieces.. new wrap, seat, tune-up, etc. Not to much tho, tryna keep her vintage. =)

Summers coming up and I’m starting to get the volunteer itch! It’s not the annoying one that you can’t reach or it’s been scratched too hard you have to rub it to calm the intense feeling down—Instead it the social responsibility one. Although I’m not by any means living the life of luxury, I know that my purpose here is more than just work and play. So, as of yesterday I filled out the information to become a BIG SISTER! I’m overjoyed – I can’t wait. It’s my turn to pay it forward and I’m more than ready. I’m sure I’ll have some cool ideas and some valuable advice for the young pal I get but more importantly, it’s time to learn more about myself from this little one.
